Your wedding day is finally approaching. Everything is taken care of at the venue, your photographer and DJ have the final timelines and your bridal party have their dresses and suits steamed and ready to go. There’s one thing you have left on your list and that is the gift you’re giving to your significant other. Through the planning process you both focused on your guests and the party, the reason why you were planning this party became blurred. This may be an old tradition, however this is a great reminder on why you are planning a wedding in the first place. You do not need to spend a lot of money on these gifts, but they are meant to create special moments and remind you what your wedding day is really about.

Now your gifts do not have to cost an arm and a leg, but we do suggest you hand write a letter to accompany your gift. Here are some ideas that don’t break the bank!

Gifts for Her:

  • Jewelry- who doesn’t love a new necklace or earrings to walk down the aisle in?
  • Write Her a letter on the bottom of her shoes
  • Flowers- Send her her favorite flowers to enjoy while she gets ready!
  • Something she can use on the honeymoon- going to Hawaii, give her a towel that says “wifey” on it.
  • Are you creative? Make her a video, scrapbook of your time together or even a booklet on all the reasons you love her!
  • Surprise her with a Spa treatment the morning of the wedding
  • Something personal – Put some thought into what your bride would truly enjoy opening the day of her wedding

Gifts for Him:

  • Cigars
  • Watch
  • Grooms Day Survival Kit – Socks (for cold feet), Alcohol (to calm the nerves), Mints ( to ensure a fresh kiss), Ring Pops (in case you forget the essentials- but don’t actually forget the rings), Tissues (for when you get emotional), Chocolate (something sweet until you see me) and Something for your eyes only
  • Cufflinks
  • Personalized stitching on tie, socks or shirt
  • Wallet
  • Cologne
