Joining a Golf Association through Penn Oaks gives you a great advantage and reputation as a golfer and someone who is serious about the game. Tournament players often look to Penn Oaks golfers as top contenders and our leagues have earned the respect of nationally recognized championships.
Our three main golf associations are separated by the Men’s Golf Association, Women’s Golf Association and Junior Golf Association. Our golf club also holds memberships to:

Men’s and Women’s Golf Associations
Men’s Golf Association: The Men’s Golf Association (MGA) offers over fifteen tournaments and events to our members, including marquee events such as:

Women’s Golf Association: The WGA is a popular association for our female Penn Oaks members. We have a dedicated committee to ensure every facet of the membership experience is exciting and unique. Many of our members make lifelong friends through their participation in the WGA and we take pride in providing entertaining platforms to foster these relationships. Some of our ladies’ signature events include:

Junior Golf Association
Junior Golf Association: Penn Oaks Golf Club has a growing Junior Golf Program and is proud to be the home of Harry Hammond. Hammond has a list of Philadelphia Section PGA honors, Golf Professional of the Year (1991), Junior Golf Leader (1992-1993, 1996, and 1998), and the PGA of America’s National Junior Golf Leader award in 1999. Hammond is also a member of the Philadelphia Section Hall of Fame. Harry currently serves on the PGA of America’s National Junior Golf Committee.
The common goal for Penn Oaks Golf Club and parents alike is to teach the children a game that will last them a lifetime. Golf teaches honesty, patience, perseverance, and companionship which bring parents and their children closer to each other as they spend time practicing and playing.
